Function setting

1. Brake
BRK and GND terminal disconnect in default. The motor will rapid stopped when BRK and GND in short circuit. Otherwise, the motor runs.
To add a switch or PLC between BRK and GND can control the motor start and rapid stop.

2.Direction control
F/R and COM disconnect, motor runs clockwise(CW). F/R and COM connect, motor runs anticlockwise(CCW).

3.Closed loop selection
SW1=0, SW2=0 Open loop
SW1=0, SW2=1 Closed loop 2 poles
SW1=1, SW2=0 Closed loop 4 poles
SW1=1, SW2=1 Closed loop 5 poles
Note: Under closed loop mode, the max speed value is 3000rpm by default.

4.P-SV current setting
The current limit adjustment knob is limiting the peak value of the motor phase current value, adjusting the current limit the heat of the winding, thereby protecting the motor.
Users can use the current limit value between scale 3 and scale 10, and adjust it to the maximum 10, corresponding to an output power of about 120W.
Note: If P-SV is adjusted to 0, the motor will not rotate, and if there is a speed adjustment value at this time, it will alarm and be locked-rotor.

5 Stalling torque holding
When the load suddenly rises, the motor would be locked. When the motor is locked, the torque will be maintained for 5s.
If the reason for the restriction of the rotor is solved within 5 seconds, the motor can rotate again. If not, the motor will stop and report 8times RED alarms.
Note: If users want to restart the motor after stalling alarms, the user needs to remove the obstacle and send a reset signal at the same time.

Speed regulation

BLD-120BB has 4 speed regulation mode as following.
1.Via built-in potentiometer
Motor speed is increase when RV knobs is rotated clockwise, when anticlockwise, motor speed decreases.

2.Via external potentiometer
Use a suitable potentiometer with a resistance value of 10kΩ .When connect external potentiometer, the middle terminal connects to SV, the other two terminals connect to +5V and GND.

3.External analog signal 0-5VDC
Put an analog signal 0-5V between SV and GND.The motor speed changes with the variation of voltage.
Note: When use external analog signal, the built-in potentiometer RV should be rotated anticlockwise to limit position.

4.BLDC PWM control
PWM signal is recommended high level 5V, low level 0V, frequency 3kHz (recommended range 3K ~ 15K Hz). The recommended speed range is duty ratio 5%-96%. The following is a measured example.
